Dorothy Elaine Mack

Mrs. Dorothy Elaine Mack, 72, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2026, at her home. She was born in Florence County, SC, on November 22, 1953, to the late Eugene Ellerbe and Isadora Jones Ellerbe.

Mrs. Mack graduated from Southside High School in 1972. After graduation, she was employed by and retired from GE Healthcare after more than thirty years of dedicated service.

She was a Christian and a lifelong member of the Church of Christ. Mrs. Mack loved the Lord, cherished her family, and found joy in growing beautiful flowers and vegetables in her garden.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Rodena Ellerbe.

She is survived by her children, Kimberly Davis, James Jowaski  Mack, and Yasma Angel Mack (Thomas) Felder; four grandchildren, Keenan Mack, Nevaeh Felder, Trinity Felder, and Kadin Carruth; fourteen siblings, Helen Swinton, Margaret Harris, Charles (Lula) Ellerbe, Clementine (Willie) Johnson, Eugene (Penny) Ellerbe, Larry (Betty) Ellerbe, Alfreida (Gordon) Scott, Lavander (Rhonda) Ellerbe, Clarice (Zacharius) Mace, Harold (Jessica) Ellerbe, all of Florence, SC; Dora (Arthur) Bryant of Sarasota, FL; Kenneth (Lori) Ellerbe of Farmville, VA; Warren (Rose) Ellerbe of Greensboro, NC; and Valerie Sims of Charlotte, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
